18th Century Memorial Portrait of a Boy Named Werner Wagner

Beautiful large scale memorial oil painting of a young Austrian boy named Werner Wagner.  The boy, lovingly depicted close to lifesize, is clearly from an aristocratic family.  He sits in an elegant residence in with his pet dog and points to an inscription that indicates that he lived only to shortly before his 4th birthday.

The text on the painting reads: Werner Wagner erblichte das licht der Welt A. 1760 2 Fevier und endigte Sein Leben A 1764 27 Jener.
(Werner Wagner first saw the light of this world on February 2, 1760 and his life ended on January 27, 1764.)

Canvas dimensions: 69 x 84.9 cm  Dimensions in the Frame: 90 x 100 cm
Condition: Very good, but there are some areas of paint loss around his face and at the canvas edges.  Light craqueleur and some soiling.
