Brigitta Enz
Brigitta Enz ws born in 1948 in Zurich and began to work as an artist in 1979. In the early 1980s she traveled and took inspiration from the Algerian Sahara and Southern Tunesia, and established a studion on the Tunesian island of Djerba. In the late 1980s, Enz began working in Lithography, and built a Lithography studio in the Bündner Oberhalbstein (Switzerland). During the 1990s, she spent six months living in a caravan in the Camargue, studying the way of life and music of the Gypsies.
A book about her works on the theme of Masks and the Venice Carnival was published in 1987 : Der Karneval von Venedig in Bildern von Brigitta Enz; Karnevals und Masken Malerei.
