Richard Hartmann

1901 (Lausanne) - 2000 (Yverdon)

Born in Lausanne in 1901, the Swiss artist Richard Hartmann studied at the Academie Loup and became a student of the Vaudois painter Charles Clément. Précédemment, il avait suivi des cours à l’Académie Loup.  From 1964 to 1971, he taught drawing and painting at the l’École des Beaux-Arts et d’Art appliqué and exhibited widely in the francophone regions of Switzerland (Suisse Romande) including at the Galerie Paul Vallotton.
