Ludovico Burnacini was an Italian architect, and theatrical stage and costume designer, who served the imperial court in Vienna in the mid 17th Century. A master draughtsman and theater engineer of the Baroque period, his work included elaborate costumes, set designs, chariots and other elements of entertainments for the courts of the Holy Roman Emperors Leopold I and Joseph I.
His work was featured in an exhibit at Vienna’s Theatre Museum in 2020-2021.
