This etching signed “F Grunder” is the work of the Swiss artist Friedrich Johannes Grunder who was born in 1880 in St. Gallen and died in 1969 in New York.

It shows two farm buildings by a pond in Normandy (Vieille Ferme en Normandie)

It is engraved in a rich charcoal tones.
