 A handwritten annotation on the bottom of the sheet in pencil in German reads “Griech. Geistlicher aus d’Bocche di Cattaro” (A Greek Holy Man from Bocche di Cattaro) indicating that this is a holy man from the Dalmation coast, Bocche di Càttaro / Boka Kotorska.

Bocche di Cattaro is the Bay of Kotor in Montenegro
