16th Century Woodblock prints from Paul Hector Mair’s “Geschlechter Buch ..der .. Statt Augspurg.” Published in Frankfurt am Main by Sigmund Feyerabend in 1580.

This double sided woodblock print depicts members of the great Augsburg families shown in full armor with their coats of arms beside them. The prints are two sided there is a second knight on the back of each page.

The artist was Christoph Weiditz II.

The knight on the back of this sheet is not colored.
