Beautiful late 16th or early 17th Century copperplate engraving on old watermarked laid paper shoing a procession of angels surrounding a church.

The texts in latin on the print read:

Typus Venerabilis Sacramenti (at the top)

Adrianus de S. Huberto vel Huberti excudit cum Privilegio Buschere (bottom center).

Below the church are the words “Adorant Domnationes temerunt potes (?) ex Missal Rom.”

There is a signature “Mariette excud.” lower right.

Condition: Cut to platemark. Otherwise excellent.
